We're delighted to share that MWA has been recognised at the Women in Construction Awards 2026, run by Design & Build UK. MWA is shortlisted for the inclusive company award, and our CEO and founder, Matt Watts, isa finalist for the Male Ally Award. Winners will be announced at the Royal Lancaster London on 29 October.
The Women in Construction Awards celebrate excellence and drive change across the industry, recognising the contribution of women in construction and the organisations championing inclusivity and diversity. The Male Ally Award celebrates a man who actively supports, mentors and advocates for women in construction. The Inclusive Company Award recognises a business that embeds equality, diversity and inclusion across its workforce.
Inclusion has always been part of how we work. Half of our board are women, a balance that is still rare in construction. Many of our team have grown into senior and Director-level roles, supported by training, mentoring and a culture built on trust and respect.
We're proud to be named alongside so many inspiring people and businesses, and we'll be cheering on all the finalists on the night.
