Supporting local sport, independent journalism and the community we call home.
MWA Projects is delighted to announce a new 12-month partnership with the Henley Herald, becoming the official sponsor of its sports news coverage from 1 November 2026.
Founded in Henley-on-Thames in 2002, MWA has spent almost 24 years delivering commercial design and build projects for clients across London and the Thames Valley. The partnership reflects the company's continued commitment to supporting its local community, strengthening regional connections and celebrating the sporting achievements of individuals, clubs and organisatons across Henley.
As an independent local news platform, the Henley Herald plays an important role in keeping residents informed and connected. Its sports coverage celebrates everything from grassroots participation and local clubs to the achievements of individuals representing the town at regional and national level.
For MWA, supporting this coverage is a natural extension of its commitment to the community in which the business was established.
The partnership comes at an exciting time for MWA, following a series of prestigious industry awards, including the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Thames Valley Property Awards and Inclusive Company of the Year at the Women in Construction Awards 2026.
The company is also continuing to expand its project portfolio across the Thames Valley, including its recently announced appointment to refurbish Henley Golf Club's clubhouse, with works commencing in November 2026.
The sponsorship reflects MWA's ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and the organisations that contribute to making Henley such a vibrant place to live and work.
As MWA approaches its 25th anniversary in 2027, the company looks forward to continuing its involvement in the local community, supporting the Henley Herald and celebrating the people and sporting achievements that make Henley such a special place.
