We're proud to share that our CEO and Founder, Matt Watts, has won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the 12th Thames Valley Property Awards. The awards were run by The Business Magazine and held at Easthampstead Park on 24 September.

The judges praised Matt's "commitment to putting people first, while driving MWA's Thames Valley growth and delivering community benefit", adding that, as his autobiography reflects, "he leads with exceptional resilience, openness and ambition".

"I'm absolutely delighted," said Matt. "I've been building MWA for nearly 25 years and, like any business journey, there have been some incredible highs and some pretty difficult moments along the way. The judges referenced resilience, openness and ambition – three words that also sit at the heart of Made With Ambition – which made the award feel even more personal."

He was quick to share the credit: "None of it happens on your own. I'm incredibly proud of everyone at MWA, past and present, who has been part of the journey, and having my family there to share the moment made the night even more special."

The award comes at an exciting time for our work in the Thames Valley. Recent projects include a 40,000 sq ft refurbishment for Northern & Shell in Redhill, the ticket office at Ascot Racecourse and the transformation of a 20,000 sq ft barn into the Barnsgrove Club. Still to come are new lounges at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield and the clubhouse refurbishment at Henley Golf Club.
