Creating an exceptional new headquarters for a leading private aviation company.

MWA Projects was appointed to design, fit out and furnish the new 7,000 sq ft headquarters for Volanteus, a leading private aviation charter company, at Explorer 2 in Crawley, overlooking Gatwick Airport.

The brief was to create a distinctive, high-quality workplace that reflected Volanteus' brand, ambition and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences, whilst providing an inspiring environment for its growing team.

Working closely with the client, MWA developed a bespoke design that combines contemporary office accommodation with hospitality-inspired spaces, creating a workplace that is as much about bringing people together as it is about day-to-day business operations.

The completed project includes open-plan offices, private meeting rooms, a dedicated presentation area, a striking bespoke feature bar, comfortable lounge and snug areas, a library and recreational facilities. Each space has been carefully considered to support different ways of working, from focused individual tasks and collaborative meetings to informal conversations, relaxation and entertaining clients.

MWA also supplied and installed the furniture throughout, carefully selecting pieces to complement the interior design, enhance comfort and functionality,and create a consistent look and feel across the workplace.

A particular feature of the project is the integration of hospitality-style interiors throughout the workplace, reflecting the premium service and attention to detail associated with the Volanteus brand. The impressive views towards Gatwick Airport provide a fitting backdrop for a business operating at the heart of the aviation industry.

The result is a sophisticated yet welcoming head quarters that balances functionality, comfort and personality. More than simply a new office, Explorer 2 provides Volanteus with a workplace that celebrates its culture, supports its people and creates a memorable experience for employees and visitors alike.
